Dr Phil Green – Our New Salaried GP at Uppingham

Dr Phil Green was been a General Practitioner partner at Syston Health Centre for 19 years before joining the practice as a salaried GP in January 2020. He qualified from Leicester University Medical School in 1996 and the Leicester GP Training Scheme in 2001. Dr Green has an interest in joint injections and minor surgery and has worked as a GP trainer and undergraduate tutor for medical students from a number of different universities. He dedicates some of his spare time to working for the National Cancer Research Institute, the Bone Cancer Research Trust and the Sarcoma Patients EuroNet, a European-wide cancer charity. The remainder of his time outside work is dedicated to the enjoyment of a number of different sports, traveling and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
